2. What is the currency in Peru?

Peruvian currency is the Sol (S/.) which is interchangeable to US dollar ($) in any area of ​​Peru. The exchange rate for 1 US dollar during this year 2020 is oscillating between 3.3 to 3.4 soles.

3. Where do you recommend to stay?

Peru is centralized especially in the Lima Region, which is divided into sectors called distritos. The preferred choice for foreigners are the distritos of Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco, San Miguel and San Borja

 

4. What transportation ways do I have?

Within the Lima region, you have the options of renting your own car, getting a taxi, boarding the buses or train. However, Lima has high traffic congestion during  7-9 hrs. in the morning and 18-20 hrs. at night.
